Life is a journey! Can I get an "Amen?" Seriously, though, like many of you, I have been on a journey to discover the work that excites me, brings me joy, and ignites my passion. After decades of searching, following the bread crumbs, and seeking wise counsel, I found it!
What is it? Well, it's serving a community of marketers and communicators who want to become better in their vocational roles and wish to improve in their leadership and family roles.
I'm a builder. Every job I've ever had required me to build or rebuild something. I used to cry out to God and say, "Why me! Can't I ever just come into a role that doesn't require me to build something?" Also, God has usually called me to transition after the building is complete. To which I would exclaim, "God, can't I just stay and enjoy this for a while?" Ha! God knew something I didn't know then. He knew that I needed to build.
I've built award-winning choirs, drama clubs, and Fine Arts programs for not just one but three schools. I've written a curriculum for university courses. I've built websites and branding packages for organizations and built Marketing and Communications teams for churches. Building teams and systems are what I do, and it's so much fun!
